A Taste of Honey 1 J+P The Irish Countryside, truly a sight to behold, especially in the spring. The white crest of cold snow had melted away into gleaming runoff, and all the colourful wildflowers had opened their buds like eyes to meet the shining sun with smiles, their leaves like outstretched arms. The air smell of clover and wet rotting wood, but it was light in my nostrils. It was a wonderful, Earthy odor that was missed when you lived in the smoggy and dank city of Liverpool.
